The Zapote Bullring will become the epicenter of gastronomy and entertainment on Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25, with the celebration of the second edition of Fuego Festival 2026. Organized by the Municipality of San José, this free-admission event will welcome attendees from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Following the success of its first edition in 2025, which attracted more than 12,000 people, the festival returns with a proposal that combines national and international meat cuts, open-flame cooking stations, and a robust musical lineup. According to Gabriela Calvo, spokesperson for the local government, the objective is to reclaim emblematic spaces for safe family enjoyment and community coexistence.

This year’s artistic proposal stands out for its variety and quality, integrating a musical program that will accompany the event continuously throughout the day. The festival will feature live performances by RT Band, Plancharranga, Jorge Chicas, and Black Dogs Band, in addition to various DJs responsible for energizing the atmosphere throughout the weekend. This selection of national artists aims to offer a sound experience that spans different genres and appeals to attendees of all ages.

According to the organizers, NuNu CR Producciones, the event is not only a showcase for gastronomic and musical talent, but also an opportunity to boost activity in the Zapote area. In addition to the main attractions, a special children’s area and rest zones have been arranged, ensuring that the festival is an inclusive space for family recreation.
