Along among many

Along among many

Avenida Central has always caught my attention. For me, it’s the center of the country. The place most Costa Ricans think of when we say, “Let’s go to San José,” is the heart of the city. Definitely a chaotic place.

Like any city, it’s full of smells, noises, voices, and people. In short, everything you can expect from a city.

The central offices of the national banks, a couple of ministries, and the legislative assembly are here or close by.

It’s a place where the rich and the poor walk together, without really knowing each other.

Every face is a story…

It’s amazing how you can walk alone surrounded by thousands of people.
