Dance as if no one is watching

San José Centro is a messy and convoluted place. Around 2 million people walk trough the Avenida Central every day. Most of the as a part of their daily commute.

However it has a very distinct feeling to the other capital cities of the world (at least for me). The zeitgeist is a bit more colorful and energetic.

Altough messy, often full with trash and a cacophony of sounds and smells. The city has a certain rhythm. And many have made of the streets their dominions.

Some of the homeless people are know by their names and or nicknames. So integrated into the scenery, that everytime you visit “Chepe” you expect to see them there.

And so for some brief moments. They happiness invade them. Sequestering them from their preocupaciones and daily needs.

I think it is important to be able to be yourself. To torn the mask and the persona we present to the world. This people somehow altough often gone in their minds. Are very autenthic and real, dancing when the body ask for it.
