The National Museum of Costa Rica is hosting a special edition of its Music at the Museum concert series to celebrate the 202nd anniversary of the Annexation of the Partido de Nicoya to Costa Rica.
The National Band of San José will perform a lively repertoire showcasing the culture of the Guanacaste pampas and its people, featuring works by two renowned Costa Rican folk and popular music composers: Jesús Bonilla Chavarría and Héctor Zúñiga Rovira.
In addition to the concert, visitors can enjoy two guided tours of the exhibitions “From Barracks to Museum” and “Costa Rica in the Mirror.” Admission is free for both Costa Rican and international visitors.
