UNA Celebrates Jazz Day with Free Concerts in Heredia

The National University of Costa Rica (UNA) will celebrate Jazz Day with a free cultural event in Heredia featuring concerts, musical improvisation, and artistic encounters open to the public.

The event aims to highlight jazz as a living musical language based on improvisation and artistic dialogue. It will take place at the Arts Center of the Omar Dengo Campus and will feature performances by various ensembles and musicians from UNA’s School of Music.

The program is designed to introduce jazz to new audiences while promoting student participation and artistic exchange in an academic and cultural setting.
