TacoFest will take place from May 14 to 16 at the Mexican Cultural Institute, located in the Los Yoses neighborhood, Montes de Oca, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event aims to position eastern San José as a hub for international gastronomy and cultural gathering.
Over three days, the public will be able to enjoy a wide variety of tacos, ranging from traditional Mexican recipes to fusion cuisine proposals featuring local ingredients, accompanied by cantaritos, live music, and spaces dedicated to culture and history. The event seeks to establish itself as a meeting point between gastronomy, tradition, and alternative proposals, strengthening the role of this area of the capital in Costa Rica’s contemporary cultural scene.
