“Sei6 Cu4rtos”: A Play About the Impact of Words During Adolescence

On September 5 and 6, 2026, the National Theatre of Costa Rica will present Sei6 Cu4rtos, a play directed by Karla Barquero.

The story follows six teenagers whose lives begin to change after a mysterious anonymous text appears during the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. As rumors and seemingly harmless comments spread, the teenagers are forced to confront wounds that are not always visible.

The performances will take place at 5:00 p.m., with an approximate duration of one and a half hours, at the National Theatre in San José.
