About the Patron Saint Festivities of Saint John the Baptist 2026 in Tibás: 18 Days of Tradition, Music, and Chifrijo

The 2026 Patron Saint Festivities of Saint John the Baptist in Tibás will feature 18 consecutive days of cultural, sporting, and gastronomic activities, including concerts, folkloric performances, amusement rides, and vaccination campaigns for the whole family. As a new addition, this year’s celebration will include a competition to select the “Best Chifrijo in Tibás 2026,” in which ten local establishments will compete before a panel of special guest judges, strengthening the canton’s gastronomic pride and local identity.
