National Meeting of Media with a Focus on Culture: two days to narrate culture from the territories

This is a call to participate in the National Meeting of Media with a Focus on Culture, a two-day event in Nicoya, Guanacaste, where journalists, communicators, artists, and cultural managers from all provinces will gather to share experiences and learn new ways of telling stories about culture from their communities. The meeting will take place on Monday, July 13 and Tuesday, July 14, 2026, as part of the project Territorial Voices: toward a network of media for living culture, which aims to improve coverage of artistic and cultural topics throughout the country.

Participation is through a scholarship that includes transportation, meals, accommodation, materials, and access to all activities, and two people per province will be selected. Applications are open until Wednesday, July 1 and are submitted through a form available via the bio link of La Voz de Guanacaste or by requesting it via direct message.
