Dulces Compañías Festival 2026: Curridabat celebrates animal welfare and responsible pet ownership

The Municipality of Curridabat will host the Dulces Compañías Festival 2026 on Saturday, July 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Freses Dog Park. This free community event is designed for families and their companion animals, with a focus on animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and community engagement.

The festival will feature the Perrotón Dulce fun run, educational workshops, dog competitions and parades, talks by pet nutrition and veterinary specialists, a picnic area, local entrepreneurs, a symbolic Memory Tree to honor beloved pets that have passed away, pre-event neon walks, and the “Curridabat’s Most Photogenic Cat” contest. All activities are free of charge, although some require prior registration through the municipality’s official social media channels.
