Key information for attendees
ChepeCletas will host a guided walking tour through downtown San José on Thursday, July 16, exploring the influence of France on Costa Rica’s history and development. Participants will discover neighborhoods, historic buildings, notable figures, and key events that reflect more than 150 years of cultural and historical ties between the two countries.
The tour begins at 7:00 p.m. at Parque Morazán, next to the Temple of Music, and costs ₡5,000 per person. Children under 12 may participate free of charge.
The activity is open to all ages and is pet-friendly. As space is limited, advance reservation is required through the official website or WhatsApp. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, and to bring a light jacket and umbrella depending on the weather.
