About the Celebration of the 139th Anniversary of the National Museum of Costa Rica
On Sunday, May 3, the National Museum of Costa Rica will celebrate its 139th anniversary with a free cultural day for nationals and residents. The program includes Boruca mask and textile art workshops, guided tours of several historical exhibitions, a popular music concert by the National Band of San José, a contemporary dance performance, and a small market featuring crafts and traditional foods from Costa Rica, Brazil, and Venezuela, all taking place between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
