San José is getting ready to transform once again into a vibrant nocturnal museum. Art City Tour, the cultural initiative that has redefined how we experience the Costa Rican capital, returns with one of its most anticipated editions: “Noche en Blanco 2025” (White Night 2025). If you’ve ever wanted to explore the cultural treasures of Chepe under the moonlight, this is your chance.
What is Art City Tour?
For those who haven’t experienced it yet, Art City Tour is much more than just a tour. It’s a free cultural experience that opens the doors of museums, galleries, cultural centers, and heritage spaces during unusual evening hours. For 16 years and over 77 editions, this initiative has brought together more than 145,000 people, inviting them to rediscover the city and reclaim its public spaces in a safe and festive atmosphere.

How Does It Work and How to Participate?
Participating is simple, but it requires planning. Although admission is 100% free, space is limited and prior registration is mandatory.
Registration is Key: The registration link will be enabled one to two weeks before the event. Stay tuned to the Art City Tour and Chepe Town social media channels, as spots tend to fill up quickly!
Your Cultural Passport: Upon registering, you will receive a personal QR code. This code will be your key to access both the official shuttle buses and enter the various participating cultural spaces.
Move for Free: Forget about your car and parking stress. The event features a free closed-circuit transportation system that connects all key points of the route, allowing you to move easily from one place to another.
