On Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, the Oxígeno Shopping Center in Heredia will host the Citizen Festival on Electric Mobility, a free event aimed at bringing the public closer to clean technologies and promoting a culture of sustainable transportation in Costa Rica.

Organized by the Costa Rican Association for Electric Mobility (ASOMOVE), the festival will showcase electric vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, charging stations, and financial solutions. Educational talks will begin at 2 p.m., and each day will close with live music performances, including a tribute to Soda Stereo.

“We want people to experience electric mobility up close, talk to real users, and discover how easy it is to move in a clean, modern, and efficient way,” said Silvia Rojas, Executive Director of ASOMOVE.

Industry experts like Donald Hidalgo, Daniel Durán, and representatives from Quálitas Costa Rica will share insights on vehicle maintenance, charging infrastructure, and innovation. Financial institutions and insurers will also be present to explain how to access electric mobility.

The activity runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days in a family-friendly and educational environment. Admission is free.
