The province of Cartago is promoting new employment opportunities through a 100% free scholarship program aimed at technical training for entry into the medical industry. The attraction and consolidation of companies in the sector has also been supported by the Promotora del Comercio Exterior de Costa Rica (Costa Rica) (PROCOMER), which identifies the medical industry as a strategic sector for national development.
