Key information for attendees
The exhibition features 18 sculptural ceramic pieces that evoke the sea, the coasts, and their landscapes through techniques combining volcanic clay, multiple firings, and painterly textures. The works depict sunsets, marine wildlife, local economic activities, and the lifestyle of Costa Rica’s coastal regions. The artist aims to express the sensations and lived experiences of the sea in a three-dimensional way. The exhibition has also been shown at institutions such as the Calderón Guardia Museum and the University of Costa Rica.
