From the National Museum to the Plaza de la Democracia.

I took this photo from the top of the National Museum in San José. The place was formerly called Cuartel Bella Vista. It also served as a weapons storage facility for the army until 1948. But it was also the same place where José Figueres Ferrer abolished the army in 1948.

I love photos taken from a distance because people react and behave differently when they know there’s a camera in front of them.
