Whale and Dolphin Festival Comes to Uvita from September 4 to 6

From September 4 to 6, 2026, Uvita will host the Whale and Dolphin Festival, a celebration dedicated to the arrival of humpback whales in Costa Rica’s South Pacific.

During the festival, local and international visitors will be able to take part in special whale and dolphin-watching tours, while also enjoying cultural and community activities. The program includes live music, activities for children, talks about marine conservation, local entrepreneurship fairs and gastronomic offerings.

The event also aims to support local businesses and entrepreneurs, making the weekend an opportunity to discover Uvita while enjoying the region’s remarkable marine biodiversity.
