25th European Film Festival: 25 Films from 18 Countries at Cine Magaly

From May 21 to June 10, 2026, the twenty-fifth edition of the European Film Festival will be held at Cine Magaly, featuring a program of 25 films from 18 countries, including productions from Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Ireland, Croatia, Portugal, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and others.

In addition to the screenings, the festival will offer thematic days dedicated to specific national cinemas, special screenings such as La isla mínima with a discussion featuring producer Gervasio Iglesias, and training activities including masterclasses, short film workshops, development sessions, and dubbing workshops aimed at the Costa Rican and Central American audiovisual sector.

All screenings will be presented in their original language with Spanish subtitles. Ticket prices will be ₡3,300 for general admission and ₡2,800 for senior citizens and students with valid ID.
