The second edition of the Costa Rica Music Fest Europe will bring the “pura vida” spirit of Costa Rican music to two of Europe’s liveliest cultural capitals: Barcelona and Paris. Confirmed dates are July 5, 2025 at Sala Padró in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona) and July 19, 2025 at Le Hasard Ludique in Paris.
A Platform to Showcase Tica Talent
Born to celebrate Costa Rica’s musical roots abroad and build cultural bridges through art, the Costa Rica Music Fest returned stronger after its debut in Paris in 2024. This year’s tour underscores “pura vida” as a national brand, putting local artists on international stages.
Nakury: Rap, Poetry & Activism
Natasha “Nakury” Campos, raised in San José, began her creative journey as a graffiti artist and break-dancer before turning to socially conscious rap. Her work blends urban beats with powerful, poetic lyrics that tackle social issues head-on. International media have praised her as “a Costa Rican rapper reviving hip-hop’s activist roots.”
MartinSon: From San Ramón to Europe
José Martín “MartinSon” Rodríguez hails from San Ramón and first rose to fame as a finalist on Teletica’s “Nace una Estrella.” Known for setting poetry to music and weaving in traditional Costa Rican rhythms, MartinSon brings his melodic, heartfelt style to European audiences for the first time.
