Costa Rica continues to solidify its status as a favorite destination for Hollywood stars seeking a break from the spotlight and a connection with nature. The latest to join this growing list is acclaimed actress Eiza González, known for her roles in major productions like “Godzilla vs. Kong,” “I Care a Lot,” and “Baby Driver.”
But she didn’t come alone. The actress is enjoying her “Pura Vida” escape alongside her partner, professional tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. The couple has chosen the province of Guanacaste as their home base, staying at the well-known Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín, located near the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.
It was Dimitrov himself who shared a glimpse of their vacation through his Instagram account. In the published images, they can be seen looking very relaxed while sharing a hammock at the hotel facilities, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
Another snapshot that has drawn attention shows the couple enjoying a spectacular light-blue waterfall, a hallmark of the natural wonders offered in that area of the country, which is famous for combining adventure with stunning landscapes.
A visit from figures of this caliber is more than just a simple anecdote for national tourism. It reinforces Costa Rica’s image as a top-tier destination, capable of offering not only beaches but also the authentic adventure experiences and direct contact with nature that high-profile travelers seek.
The visit is a confirmed fact. The news outlet CRHoy reported that the Directorate of Immigration confirmed González’s entry into the country on November 4th, apparently to enjoy a well-deserved vacation at various tourist spots.
