The Costa Rican National Team now has its new jersey ready for the FIFA World Cup 2026, officially presented by Adidas. This home jersey stands out for its deeply symbolic design: it is inspired by the guaria morada, the country’s national flower, and features the emblematic phrase “Pura Vida” on the back of the neck, an element that reinforces the emotional bond with the fans and national identity.

The design uses a predominantly red base, the team’s classic color, complemented by graphic motifs that evoke Costa Rica’s exuberant nature, such as floral patterns, leaves, and toucans, along with details that symbolize the warmth and joy of the Costa Rican people. Adidas has integrated its CLIMACOOL+ technology into the garment, which guarantees comfort, breathability, and freedom of movement, offering a product with advanced sports functionality.

This jersey aims to be a visual tribute to the culture, nature, and optimism that define the Costa Rican spirit, making this garment much more than a uniform: it represents a symbol of identity for those who carry Costa Rica in their hearts and live the passion for football. Furthermore, an alternative white away jersey is expected to be announced soon.

The garment has been available to fans since November 6 in physical Adidas stores, official distributors, and the official adidas.com website. This launch is part of the largest jersey collection ever created by Adidas for a World Cup, involving 22 national teams, consolidating Costa Rica with modern, high-quality gear loaded with meaning for the world’s most important sporting event.

This new jersey not only outfits the players but also connects deeply with the national cultural identity, the native fauna and flora, and the emblematic “Pura Vida” spirit that characterizes the country.
