The Ministry of Culture and Youth (MCJ), through the Artistic and Cultural Production Center (CPAC), invites artists, collectives, and cultural organizations from the province of Limón to participate in the call for the Limón Artists Creation Fund.

This fund is exclusively aimed at artists, organizations, or collectives residing in the province of Limón to support artistic creation projects. Based on the Emergency and Cultural Rescue Law (No. 10.041) and its regulations (Executive Decree No. 43530-C), the 2025 National Arts Festival (FNA2025) provides funding through the FIA Fund to support artists and cultural organizations from the Limón region.

The call seeks artistic and cultural projects in various disciplines: theater, dance, music, visual arts, literature, performance, interdisciplinary shows, workshops, and more—projects that contribute to cultural dialogue and decentralization.

Proposals must align with one or more of the festival’s curatorial themes:

  • Culture of Peace and Community Living: Projects that foster dialogue, emotional well-being, and community building.
  • Identity and Living Heritage: Initiatives that rescue and reinterpret national cultural traditions.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Accessible proposals that promote human rights and social justice.
  • Artistic Innovation and Experimentation: Creative and interdisciplinary projects that integrate new technologies and formats.

Selected proposals will be included in the official festival program. A specialized committee will evaluate the projects using clear criteria: quality, territorial impact, technical and economic feasibility, innovation, and consistency with the curatorial themes.

On Thursday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m., a virtual training session will be held to assist applicants with the form-filling process. To participate, individuals must complete this FORM.
