The fight was thrilling from the very beginning. Both athletes demonstrated their skill and tenacity in the ring, exchanging strategic blows that thrilled spectators. Yokasta, true to her versatile fighting style, managed to adapt to the weight difference and maintain the advantage in several key rounds. In the end, the judges’ decision was split, with scores of 97-93 (two judges in favor of Yokasta Valle) and 96-94 (one judge in favor of Marlen Esparza), securing victory for the Costa Rican.

She also mentioned that this is not the end of the road; on the contrary, she is focused on returning to her original 105-pound category to defend her World Boxing Council title.

This fight not only strengthens her legacy as one of the best boxers in the region but also serves as a source of inspiration for future generations of athletes. Yokasta Valle continues to show that with determination, effort, and vision, the greatest challenges can become unforgettable victories.
