Transitarte was born as an effort to revitalize the urban spaces of San José by promoting art and culture among the city’s inhabitants. Since its first edition, the festival has evolved to become a benchmark of creativity and artistic diversity. Its history reflects a commitment to fostering free access to culture and providing an inclusive space for both emerging and established artists.

This year, the festival includes special tributes to swing criollo and bolero, musical genres that have significantly shaped the country’s cultural history. Additionally, a stage dedicated to street performers will stand out, celebrating their authenticity and creativity. To conclude the event, a closing concert in La Sabana will feature the Argentine band Los Auténticos Decadentes alongside Sonámbulo and Mentados, promising an unforgettable night.
